When is the State Fair?

The 2017 Oklahoma State Fair ran Thursday, September 14 thru Sunday, September 24.

The 2018 Oklahoma State Fair runs Thursday, September 13 thru Sunday, September 23.

The 2019 Oklahoma State Fair runs Thursday, September 12 thru Sunday, September 22.

The 2020 Oklahoma State Fair runs Thursday, September 17 thru Sunday, September 27

What are State Fair hours?

Gates open at 8 a.m. daily to accommodate Equine & Livestock Shows in the Barns.

Exhibit buildings and Outdoor Exhibitors are open Sunday thru Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Carnival closing time is at the discretion of management.

What are daily admission prices?

Where can I park?

There are acres and acres of FREE parking available, located on both the north and south sides of the property and handicapped parking is available at most Gates.

I’ve got a question – where do I go?

Fairgoers can visit any of our four InFAIRmation Booths during the State Fair. The first InFAIRmation Booth is located at 14 Flags Plaza on the front lawn of the Modern Living Building, the second is located at the intersection of Kiamichi and Stagecoach, the third is on Gordon Cooper Blvd. near the Bennett Event Center, and the fourth is located on the south lawn of the Oklahoma Expo Hall at Gordon Cooper Blvd. These facilities provide information on all aspects of the Fair and Fairgoers can stop by one of these locations daily during the Fair.

What is the Fair’s smoking policy?

State Fair Park, a City of Oklahoma City property, follows the smoking rules per city policy. Smoking is not allowed in any exhibit building, the Bennett Event Center, the Jim Norick Arena, Barns or in tents/booths. Tobacco products are not sold anywhere at State Fair Park during the run of the Oklahoma State Fair.

Can I bring my own food/beverages?

Outside food/beverages are not allowed unless it is needed for medical purposes.

Formula, milk and food for infants/toddlers is permitted.

Are pets allowed, even if they are leashed?

No, unless they are a service animal or entered into a competition.

Are there locker, scooter, wheelchair, stroller or wagon rentals?

Lockers, electric scooters, wheelchairs, strollers and wagons are available for rent just inside three main gates of the Oklahoma State Fair (near the Jim Norick Arena just inside Gate 6, just inside Gate 9 near the Petting Zoo and on the north side of 14 Flags Plaza near Gate 2). Rentals are available for walk-up customers and also by advance reservation. Fairgoers can make reservations for scooters and wheelchairs online at or by calling 877-588-4782. Rentals are provided by a third party contractor and not Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. Prices and information are subject to change without notice.

Is there a tram?

Fairgoers are able to make use of the State Fair’s internal tram service for FREE! The State Fair Trams travel around the perimeter of the Fair, inside the gates, stopping at marked locations. Hop on and give your tired feet a break – it’s a great way to see the State Fair!

What if someone gets lost?

Lost persons will be brought to the Safety Center located on the west end of the Administration Building on the corner of Land Rush and General Pershing (east of the Space Tower).

Where is first aid available?

First aid is available in the Safety Center located on the west end of the Administration Building on the corner of Land Rush and General Pershing (east of the Space Tower). If you experience a true emergency during the State Fair, call 9-1-1. EMSA personnel are on-site and will be dispatched accordingly.

What if I have to leave – can I come back?

A hand stamp and an outside gate admission ticket are required for re-entry.

I have a concealed carry permit, may I carry my gun?

Weapons are not allowed at the Oklahoma State Fair. Additionally, we reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted to leave the Oklahoma State Fair, without refund or compensation, for failure to comply with any of the Oklahoma State Fair rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behavior, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances so require.
