If you are Deaf and Hard of Hearing, special activities abound during the 12th Annual Oklahoma State Fair Deaf Awareness Day on Thursday, September 21. At designated times throughout the day many Fair shows will be interpreted.
Deaf Awareness Day Schedule (COMING IN JUNE)
Starting at 10 a.m., plan to make your way to the south end of the Modern Living Building where you can enjoy entertainment by Deaf and Hard of Hearing performers and guest speakers. There will be several Deaf organizations and Deaf vendors offering valuable information, resources, networking opportunities, and arts and crafts. You won’t want to miss this fun-filled day at the Oklahoma State Fair.
Come As You Are Church Services
Sunday, September 17, 9:30 a.m. & Sunday, September 24, 9:30 a.m.
Be inspired! Be instructed! Be entertained! The Oklahoma State Fair is proud to offer “Come As You Are” Sunday services for the public, vendors or anyone else on grounds at these times. Join us, just “as you are” for an uplifting message and time of fellowship. Thank you to Steve and Mary Womack and Earl and Nan Brady for their words of encouragement and worship.
ASC Cheerleading & Pom Pon Competition
Saturday, September 23, 8 a.m. - noon
Witness the most "spirited" event held at the State Fair as Cheerleading, Dance and Pom Pon teams compete for the regional title and the chance to advance to the National competition! For more information on this competition, including entry divisions visit ascspirit.com.
Arm Wrestling Classic
Sunday, September 25, noon - 5:30 p.m.
The Great Oklahoma Rivalry, OU vs OSU
It’s the ultimate opportunity to show school spirit and participate in a sport that affords anyone the opportunity to be a competitor. If crimson or orange aren’t the color of choice, there’s still a place for those wanting to show their strength in the 8th Annual Oklahoma State Fair Arm Wrestling Classic.
