1st ANNUAL OKLAHOMA STATE FAIR WINE DAY

The Creative Arts Department is pleased to host wineries from across Oklahoma on Saturday, September 19 for the 1st Annual Oklahoma State Fair Wine Day. Wine Day is a chance for wineries from across Oklahoma to showcase their fine wines and to promote the growing Oklahoma wine industry. Ten Oklahoma wineries will be on exhibit including:

  • Black Sheep Winery – Poteau
  • Chapel Creek Winery - El Reno
  • Deer Creek Vineyard – Edmond
  • Quartz Mountain Winery - Lone Wolf
  • Sand Hill Vineyards – Geary
  • StableRidge Winery – Stroud
  • Summerside Vineyards and Winery -Vinita
  • Tidal School Vineyards - Drumright
  • Vintner’s Cellar Custom Winery of Oklahoma - Edmond
  • Whirlwind Winery - Fay

Wineries will be on exhibit from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. for public tastings, and live demonstrations will be presented by Summerside Vineyards and Winery and Deer Creek Vineyard . For those who don’t enjoy the taste of a fine wine; Chris Milum of Learn to Brew will be on site for live beer brewing demonstrations and tastings.
