Event ticket prices INCLUDE an outside gate admission ticket to the State Fair if purchased on or before September 10, 2008. An additional gate admission ticket is required if event tickets are purchased after September 10, 2008. Gate admission tickets are priced at $8 for adults (ages 12 and older), $5 for children (ages 6 – 11) and free for children 5 and under.
Tickets that are purchased online through tickets.com, and designated to be left at "Will Call," can be picked up at any one of five locations in addition to the traditional "Will Call" ticket booth located south of the Arena (Gate 6). For your convenience, there will be five self-serve ticket kiosks located at the following gates: Gate 1, Gate 2, Gate 5, Gate 8 and Gate 9. In the event that you will be using one of the self-serve kiosks, you will need to have the credit card that was used to purchase the tickets with you to insert into the self-serve kiosks to retrieve your tickets. All tickets.com "Will Call" locations will be identified with the appropriate signage.
Get ready for a rough ridin' weekend, as “Beauty & the Bulls” takes over the Oklahoma State Fair Arena on Friday, September 19! Hold on to your seats as the cowboys get up close and personal with the Xtreme bulls of the PRCA for two action-packed hours of bull riding! After the dust settles in the arena, the action moves to the stage with an electrifying performance by a country music star.
Calling all cowboys and cowgirls! Dust off your boots and break out your belt buckles when Oklahoma State Fair® hosts their annual PRCA Rodeo on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21 in the Arena. Both the timed-event cowboys and cowgirls, along with the roughstock riders will compete for the big money in a traditional rodeo with far from traditional entertainment! Each rodeo performance will be followed by a LIVE! concert from a country music superstar.
A limited number of special tickets are available for Rodeo ticket holders who want to experience the LIVE! concert entertainment a little more up-close-and-personal. Valid rodeo ticket holders may visit the Dodge Dealers’ booth (located on Gordon Cooper Boulevard between State Fair Arena and Barns 1 & 2) up to two hours prior to the day’s performance and receive a “Down in the Dirt” ticket. This ticket allows the bearer access to the rodeo floor during the concert performance.
DOWN IN THE DIRT RULES:
- “Down in the Dirt” participants must make their way to the East side of the Arena, (Ramp 2) to line up.
- Official personnel will escort a single-file line to the Arena Floor.
- Have your “Down in the Dirt” ticket ready, as it must be surrendered prior to getting onto the dirt.
- The event is standing room only, no chairs may accompany anyone to the floor.
- All security personnel instructions must be followed.
This program may be changed at management discretion to allow for the convenience and/or safety of the audience participants and/or performing artist. “Down in the Dirt” tickets have no cash value.
